Cenários futuros para o consumo da carne bovina no Brasil

Resumo

Os sistemas de produção da cadeia produtiva da carne encontram-se diante de desafios globais em alinhamento aos preceitos da sustentabilidade, juntamente com o objetivo de alimentar com segurança a crescente população mundial. Para tanto, entende-se que o elo do consumo representa uma constante pressão sobre a demanda e a imagem da pecuária de corte, sendo que esforços são direcionados para compreender as preferências do consumidor, especialmente porque a sociedade é composta pelo somatório de preferências e escolhas. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar e corroborar o futuro do consumo da carne bovina no Brasil. A primeira etapa admitiu o documento intitulado “O futuro da cadeia produtiva da carne bovina brasileira: uma visão para 2040”; a segunda etapa ocorreu por meio da revisão bibliográfica. Os resultados demonstraram que a visão do consumidor, a disponibilidade de produto e os hábitos de consumo são elementos básicos para o entendimento das expectativas e demandas dos consumidores, mostrando direcionamentos para atender tais consumidores. O presente estudo contribui para os debates acadêmico-científico e empresarial por meio da análise das tendências de consumo da cadeia produtiva da carne bovina para 2040, especificamente pela sistematização dos elementos que influenciam determinado elo.
