About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The COLÓQUIO - Revista do Desenvolvimento Regional is a quarterly publication of the Graduate Program in Regional Development of Faculdades Integradas da Taquara - FACCAT. Colóquio journal aims to encourage discussion and reflection around the perspective of regional development and the socioeconomic and environmental sustainability of development, through the publication of scientific articles, developed by graduate students, professors and researchers, resulting from investigations that have an interface with the areas of regional development, rural development, urban and regional planning and demography, as well as with their related areas. Specifically, we seek to publish articles with the results of studies and research, preferably using empirical data, primary or secondary, on the different dynamics of regional development and processes of technological, socioeconomic, environmental and cultural transformations, which address different points of view on the sustainability of development, highlighting the role of the territory, institutions, social actors and local potential and external opportunities.

Thus, COLÓQUIO - Revista do Desenvolvimento Regional has an interdisciplinary character and publishes works that present original contributions, theoretical or empirical, related to Regional Development. The journal is available to national and foreign author-collaborators and has a varied Editorial Board, with members from various institutions and regions in Brazil and abroad.

- Unpublished (original) contributions in Portuguese, Spanish, French and English are accepted for evaluation.
 - The publication of works is conditioned to the opinions of members of the Advisory and Editorial Boards, guaranteeing the anonymity of the authors and, also, of the reviewers, throughout the evaluation process.
